Hosting tools
Provision and redeploy a project on the customer's own Laravel Cloud account via their connected token. The write tools return a plan first and only execute when re-called with confirm: true.
These tools live in the on-demand catalog rather than the default tool list, keeping the connected client's context small. Discover them with search_tools (e.g. search_tools(queries: ["hosting"])) and run them with execute_tools — or call them directly if your client has already loaded them.
Provision Hosting
provision_hosting
via execute_tools
Provision a project on the CLIENT'S OWN Laravel Cloud account: create the application from its synced GitHub repo, attach a database, set env vars and commands, and run the first deployment. Two-step confirm: called without confirm (or confirm:false) it returns the PLAN — the steps, the repository, and a note that attaching resources starts billing on the client's Laravel Cloud account — and does NOT execute. It only executes with confirm:true, and only after the plan has been returned once for that project. Requires a Laravel Cloud token connected on the project page (tokens are never tool parameters and never appear in results). Refused for projects the caller doesn't own. Check progress with hosting_status.
Parameters

- Name
project- Type
- string
- Required
- required
- Description
-
UUID of the project to provision.
-
- Name

false/absent: return the plan. true: execute (only valid after the plan has been returned once).
Deploy Update
deploy_update
via execute_tools
Trigger a redeployment of an already-provisioned project on the client's own Laravel Cloud account — the step after a GitHub sync, since syncs never auto-deploy. Two-step confirm: without confirm (or confirm:false) it returns the PLAN (what will be deployed, from which repository) and does NOT execute; it only deploys with confirm:true after the plan has been returned. Uses the project's stored Cloud token (never a parameter, never in results). Refused for projects the caller doesn't own. Poll the result with hosting_status.

- string
- Required
- required
- Description
-
UUID of the provisioned project to redeploy.

Hosting Status
hosting_status
read-only
via execute_tools
Read-only view of a project's Laravel Cloud hosting: whether a token is connected (the token itself is never returned), per-step provisioning progress (create application → attach database → env vars → commands → deploy), the app URL, and the latest deployment's live status. Refused for projects the caller doesn't own.
